If you can reach the internet on your browser and/or any other apps on your Mac but unable to connect to Slack, the following steps could help resolve the issue
- On your dock, move your mouse over to Slack app and do a secondary click (click with two fingers). Select quit.
2. Restart Slack.
If issue persists after Slack has been restarted, follow the following steps.
3. Restart your wifi connection by clicking on the Wifi indicator on the Taskbar.
i] Select Turn Wi-Fi off
ii] Turn WI-Fi back on
If Slack isn't connecting still, please contact the IT department by adding a ticket.
